Came to put 6 dental implants and 26 teeth crowns. Got great experience and high service and the most important beautiful smile.
I have communicated with many different clinics in Istanbul and Antalya, examined reviews in different sources, compared prices before made my choice. Finally decided on Dentares Smile Clinic.
From the very beginning and till final stage Russian speaking manager Svetlana was in contact with me online and offline in communication with clinic doctor. No problem with language understanding.
All communication before was in Whatsapp, replies were prompt. I havent had 3D Xrey so treatment plan was made based on my photos. I was warned that possibly there will be corrections on place when I will arrive, I was prepared. Finally price was a bit higher than I was informed because there were more manipulations made.
Treatment process was devided into 2 stages- in my first visit was examination, development of treatment plan and implant installation. Price quote included transfer for whole period of stay, 3 nights in the hotel with breakfast, all examination works, needed treatment and implants. Timing was always observed, I was informed about my schedule ahead and could always plan my time effectively.
For first visit I came for 5 days and covered additionally price for 2 nights at hotel, but I do recommend to come for first visit for 5 working days as 3 days seems lack of time to do all the work. They give to choose 3 hotels, the one I have chosen was very good and comfortable.
All recommendations, needed medicines were received.
Next my visit happened after 3 months when I came to finish treatment and put crowns on implants. I came for 7 full days, hotel in the price quote was for 5 days, so I covered it additionally. As well here I do recommend to plan 7 days instead of 5 and if you have even possibility to plan some days more, do it as you will be able to check if all the crowns fit well and you are comfortable.
I'm happy with the color chosen of crowns and all the process
It is already 2 months over after the work was done, at this time everything is good and I enjoy my new smile.
Thank you!

Last summer, in desperate need of a new smile, I decided to investigate dental tourism. Having heard a few horror stories about Turkey teeth I did a bit of research and came across the Dentares Smile website. It appeared to be well laid out informative and very professional with a clear pricing structure, so I decided to get in contact with the clinic.
The first person I spoke with was Melody in sales. She had a relaxed easy charm about her and after several WhatsApp video calls I was sold. I was then sent over a draft treatment plan and after confirming my flights my first visit to Antalya was arranged for September.
Upon my arrival in Antalya on 6 Sep I was picked up from the airport by Dentares’ driver and taken to the hotel included in the cost of my treatment. The standard of accommodation was excellent.
The next day I was picked up in the morning and driven to clinic where I was warmly greeted by one of the lovely young receptionists. After a friendly chat with the head honcho Dt. Öyküm Dilek to firm up my treatment plan, I was introduced to the lovely Seçil the practice manager who took the payment for my first round of treatment then introduced me to Svetlana, Dentares’ patient relations 😎 representative who informed me that treatment would begin on Saturday afternoon. It was then back to my hotel to relax and enjoy their pool and the wonderful weather for a couple of days.
On Saturday, I was driven to the clinic to have the Straumann implants put in. The most painful part of the procedure for me were the injections. The implantation process itself was uncomfortable rather than painful. Unfortunately, Dt. Özkan my implantologist determined that my bone structure wasn’t strong enough (most likely due to my age) for immediate loading of crowns onto the implants and I would have to wait another 3-6 months for my bone to ossify around the implants before this could take place. So, after sunning myself for a few more days it was back to the UK to eat lots of ice cream and gurn at my friends and family over the festive season.
I arrived in Antalya for my second round of treatment on Sunday 3 March.
On Monday morning it was time to meet Dt. Özkan again to surgically expose the implants. Again, the most painful part of the process were the injections. In the afternoon it time for my first appointment with Dt. Seçil Azizoğlu the aesthetic dentist. After another round of painful injections my remaining lower teeth were ground down to accept the veneers that were to be placed on them. This was where we ran into the only significant issue during my entire time with Dentares. After my lower teeth had been worked on the bleeding from my gums just wouldn’t clot, again probably due to my age, and my blood pressure being higher than normal after a couple of hours in the chair. After waiting an hour or so for the bleeding to stop it was decided that it would be for the best to continue my treatment on Wednesday.
On Wednesday impressions were taken, and after discussing the choices for colour and shape of my new teeth with Svetlana and Dt. Seçil, they were sent off to the Dentares’ lab to make the zirconia implant crowns and veneers.
On Thursday it was time for my first fitting. After my new teeth were worked on in situ by Dt. Seçil for a couple of hours (the lady is a perfectionist) they were taken out again and shipped back to the lab for minor adjustments and polishing.
On Friday it was time for my second and final fitting. In they went and after another hour or so of checking, grinding, and further checking by the awesome Dt. Azizoğlu it was time to look in the mirror. Wow, just wow. Carey Grant, eat your heart out 😁
On Saturday, after one last visit to the clinic to sign paperwork and say my goodbyes I was driven to the airport by my friendly chauffeur Ziya to fly back to the UK for a new and better life.
So, would I recommend Dentares Smile Clinic?
100%
Thank you so very much, folks 🙏 Hope to see you all again one day 🖖🙂

What is All on 4 Dental Implants
The All-on-4 treatment uses four implants in each jaw to support a fixed prosthesis. Dr. Paulo Malo, a Portuguese dentist, developed this technique in 1998. We place the implants to ensure even bite distribution.
Dr. Malo placed four implants at specific angles to avoid the sinus cavities and nerve canals in the jawbone. These implants effectively supported a full arch denture. This technique ensured a secure and comfortable fit.
The All-on-4 treatment is a dental surgery technique that uses four implants to support a fixed prosthesis in each jaw. This method ensures even bite distribution on just four implants. Dr. Paulo Malo, a dentist from Portugal, developed the All-on-4 technique in 1998.
Dr. Malo found a way to place four implants at specific angles. This technique helps avoid the sinus cavities and nerve canals in the jawbone. It makes the dental implant surgery safer and more effective.
This approach supports a full arch prosthesis without disturbing these areas. Since then, the All-on-4 method has become a global standard for treating patients with severe bone loss.
When severe bone loss occurs, the bone structure around the sinus cavity in the upper jaw becomes too thin. The bone structure and nerve canal in the lower jaw may also suffer damage.
This creates a gap between the bone and the areas needed to support implants. As a result, the space available for placing implants is inadequate. This condition makes it difficult to secure dental implants properly. Therefore, dentists can place 4 implants in the front jaw to avoid these important areas.
The dentist places two implants vertically at the front of the jawbone. Additionally, they place one implant on each side at a 45-degree angle, facing toward the back of the jaw. This angled placement ensures even distribution of bite force across a full arch denture. Placing all four implants vertically wouldn’t provide the same balance.
The All-on-4 technique uses the existing bone structure, so it doesn’t require sinus lifting or bone grafts. This method makes the treatment more affordable. Patients don’t need to worry about extra costs for additional procedures.
This technique is a great permanent prosthesis treatment for patients with removable dentures. It helps make life easier and allows patients to enjoy harder foods like steak or nuts. The All-on-4 treatment is suitable for those with severe bone loss on both jaws, many missing teeth, or decayed, broken, or wobbly teeth.
In most upper jaw cases, when the sinus has invaded the bone structure, only a few millimeters of bone may remain. This makes sinus lifting and bone grafting riskier. We often recommend the All-on-4 procedure in these situations.
In lower jaw cases, there is a nerve canal that runs along the bottom of the jaw and stops just outside the chin. We recommend the All-on-4 treatment when the bone between the teeth and the jaw’s nerve canal is thin.
Placing implants at the back of the mouth can pose significant risks. These risks include the potential for a burst sinus, excessive bleeding, and nerve damage. These risks are not worth it.
All on 4 Treatment in Turkey:
Patients spend their arrival day getting familiar with the hotel mostly. On the second day we deliver you to the Dentares Smile Clinic with our VIP transfer service for a 30-minute appointment. You’ll complete a patient history and consent forms. Then our patient relations consultant will assist you with having an x-ray and bring you to the Head Physician, Dr. Öyküm for a live consultation.
They will discuss your x-ray results, 3D tomography, have an intraoral examination and then provide you with the healthiest treatment plan. If you have any special requests, questions or expectations, we will discuss this here. If the doctors agree that the all on 4 is the healthiest treatment plan for you, a pre-arranged surgery appointment is available if the patient is ready to move forward with their treatment.
The doctor uses computer software of the patients x-ray and tomography to find the best placement of implants. The patient relaxes in the dental chair and within sterile conditions. The surgeon and assistants sterilize their hands, wear gloves, masks, surgical gowns, hair nets and sterilize the patient’s mouths, inside and out. The treatment may begin.
The maxillofacial surgeon applies local anesthesia for a pain free operation. The gingiva (gum) is opened, and bone exposed. The surgeon prepares the implant socket with the help of dental drills to the appropriate size and diameter. The implant is placed in the prepared socket with a little bit of bone graft. The gingiva is then closed with dissolvable stitches. The stitches disappear in 7 to 10 days.
Temporary dentures are then provided exact to the patient’s measurements by taking impressions on dental putty. Patients will ask, “Will I have fıxed dentures?”. The answer to that question depends on the decision of the doctor. If the doctor finds that the bone structure during surgery is healthy enough to support the osseointegration of implants and the strain of daily bite pressures from a fixed denture. Then the doctor may assign the patient a fixed denture.
Whether the denture is fixed or non-fixed, the patient is always advised to keep to soft foods for 3 months while the implants heal. If the patient is given non-fixed dentures, the doctor advises not to use them except for social aesthetic reasons for the first month. The bone structure is greatly reduced compared to healthy patients, so our first duty is to preserve what bone the patient has left.
All on 4 patients require 2 visits to Turkey. The first visit will be to extract remaining teeth, treat abscesses or other conditions and place implants. Patients can think of their 1st visit as the medical stage of treatments. 5 days in Turkey is enough to complete the extractions, implant surgery and provide a temporary denture. Patients will need to adhere to the doctors after care advice and take the prescribed medications: Painkiller, mouthwash, and a course of antibiotics. The patient is able to return home to heal for 3 months at a minimum. After 3 to 6 months, the patient has fully healed and can come back to Dentares for their second visit.
To create the most functional and aesthetic prosthesis, Dentures require 10 days total for their second visit. Patients will have a checkup appointment where the doctor assesses a new panoramic x-ray and opens the implants to check up on the healing. Provided that all implants have successfully integrated with the bone structure, the patient can see the prosthodontist.
One of Dentares’ prosthodontists will take impressions of your jaws with dental putty. From these impressions, the doctor and lab technicians are able to build the prosthesis. Zirconia is the most preferred material for prostheses due to its durability and strength to last over a decade with the correct oral hygiene habits.
The prosthesis is first created by building a basement material that connects all 4 implants together, perfectly distributing the compressive forces of biting. This is achieved through state-of-the-art CAD/CAM computer technologies.
A full arch prosthesis will contain 12 ‘crowns’ or prosthetic teeth. After the basement material is constructed, it’s a matter of building the zirconia crowns on top. By using the rehearsal method, we can make tiny adjustments to the full arches so that the bite comes together as smoothly as a puzzle would.
Each tooth from the upper and lower jaw sits together in unison creating the most functional and most comfortable prosthesis. After that is achieved, the prosthodontist refines the front teeth to smile design parameters for the most beautiful smile.
Dentares is a well-known dental clinic in Antalya, Turkey. They consistently provide high-quality All-on-4 treatments. The prices are affordable, especially when compared to those in Eastern Europe, the UK, and the USA.
All on 4 cost in Turkey can be up to 70% cheaper than UK, USA and Western European prices. Of course, it also comes down to the specific patient’s need. Some patients may have abscesses in their planned implant area, so the infection(s) are required to be surgically removed and treated. They will need to wait 3-6 months for these areas to heal before implants can be placed.
Quality of All on 4 implants Turkey
Patients have the option to choose the brand and quality of their implants. Dentares offers; Megagen®, Global D® and Straumann® for all on 4 treatment. This can dramatically affect the price.
Dentares has two full-time oral surgeons ready to help you. They can handle all-on-4 treatments, abscess removal, extractions, sinus lifting, and bone graft procedures.
So their skills are well developed. It pays to have an experienced surgeon on your team. At other clinics you may not get a full-time specialist resulting in lower quality surgery.
The prosthesis material, clinic reputation and prosthodontist will also vary the price. Visit ourdental crown page for more information.
We use advanced Nano-technology implants to restore a confident smile for patients with decayed teeth.
The all-on-4 treatment is a surgical technique that supports a fixed prosthesis with evenly distributed bite closure on only 4 implants per jaw. The all-on-4 technique was developed by a Portuguese dentist called Dr. Paulo Malo in 1998. Dr. Malo concluded that 4 implants placed in certain angles were able to avoid sinus cavities and nerve canals of the jaw bone in order to provide and support a full arch prosthesis. Since then, the All-on-4 method has been adopted globally as a standard treatment for patients with severe bone loss.
When severe bone loss is present, it can be observed that the space between the bone structure of the sinus cavity on the upper jaw and the bone structure and nerve canal on the lower jaw is inadequate to support implants. Therefore 4 implants are able to be placed in the anterior (front) jaw avoiding these important areas. Two implants are placed vertically at front positions of the jaw bone and one implant is placed either side of these at 45 degrees facing towards the back of the jaw. The angle allows for even distribution of bite force across a full arch denture, opposed to if all 4 implants were to be placed vertically.
The all on 4 technique doesn’t require sinus lifting treatment or bone grafts because the method only uses the existing structure. So the treatment is an affordable option for patients seeking fixed prosthesis’ because they don’t have additional treatment costs.

Patients with severe bone loss on both jaws, many missing teeth, decayed, broken, or wobbly teeth may be suitable for the all on 4 treatment.
In most upper jaw cases, if the sinus has invaded the bone structure to the point of only a few millimetres available. Dentares only works with high quality, internationally known brands. All the brands we use can be applied for the all on 4 treatment. The implants we use are Megagen®, Global D® and Straumann®. For more information what makes each of these implants unique, head over to our Dental Implant
There are a few things that can extend treatment time and affect the osseointegration (healing between bone and implant). Those are abscesses and after-care habits. Patients will discover from the x-ray & 3D tomography results in the consultation stage, if they have bone abscesses. These are little pockets (or cysts) of pus and bad bacteria. If the abscess (1 or more) is within the surgical area implants are to be applied. Then first, we must surgically extract the infection and place bone grafts. This can delay the treatment process a further 3 to 6 months depending on the size of the abscess and bone graft applied.
It’s not possible to speed up bone healing unfortunately, but we can provide good oral hygiene, quit smoking and eat a healthy, diverse diet to ensure the healing is not delayed or affected. Smoking cigarettes and vapes restricts vascular circulation to the gums and bone resulting in vital nutrients and antibodies not being able to reach the healing site. This can lead to an infection and a failed implant. Extending the treatment process by up to 3 to 6 months.
Alcohol causes oral dehydration, dilates the capillaries, and interrupts a process called osseointegration. Dehydration and dilation increases swelling and can lead to blood clots, leading to necrosis of the capillary. Affecting the transport of nutrients and healing factors to the implant area. Osseointegration is the process of bone to implant integration. The bone tissue grows into the microscopic pores and enhanced surface areas of the implant.
The temporary denture is created only for aesthetic reasons. The denture is made of a brittle acrylic and is prone to breaking with improper usage. Dentures should not be used functionally. This means that the denture is not made to withstand bite forces while chewing and is only meant for aesthetic reasons. For example you can talk to your work colleagues, friends and family with a confident smile. This is because dentures place force on the implants and can disturb healing. It will always be the priority of the doctor to ensure the maximum benefits of healing. This is to protect the patient. We need to preserve the bone structure we have.
For these reasons: smoking, drinking and inappropriate denture wear can disrupt the healing process and lead to complications; extending the process healing time to 3 or even 6 months.
Implants have been shown to significantly reduce bone loss in most patients. When it comes to the preservation of your bone structure, implants are a really good option to consider. Not only that, the implants allow the patient to have a functional and aesthetic set of dentures. Patients can experience an instant bloom of confidence when their prosthetics are first fitted.
The bite force is evenly distributed so patients are able to eat whole foods again. They are able to enjoy steak, nuts, apples, candies and other wholesome foods once again.
The best part about the aesthetic design is that the patient gets to choose a designer style and a shade of white they feel happy with.
In the UK, the all on 4 treatment requires 9 to 12 months to complete. At Dentares in Antalya, Turkey, you can complete the all on 4 treatment within 3 months.
The all on 4 treatment is also much more affordable compared to prices in the UK, USA and Eastern Europe. Due to the economic conditions of Turkey in recent years, dentistry in Turkey has created a significant price point advantage for tourists.
Turkey has a great hosting culture and it shows at Dentares. Patients always feel safe and cared for during their stay. Patients are given a VIP transfer service between the hotel, clinic and airport, a hotel for their stay, and the service from clinic staff and doctors are second to none.
Turkish doctors have been able to hone their dental skills with daily implant and prosthesis treatments. At Dentares, specialist doctors are assigned for each stage of treatment, ensuring patients are tended to by experts for each treatment, every step of the way.
Unfortunately, scientists haven’t been able to hack the body healing factors. Our bone tissues still take months to heal and so for the all on 4 treatment we need to allow 3 months to complete.
Patients are required to travel from their home countries to Turkey for treatment. So patients need to manage work and life responsibilities to have the time to come to Turkey twice. In reality, the all on 4 treatment can be finished in Turkey in 3 months opposed to the UK where it can take 9 to 12 months to complete. So patients really save time at the end of the day and have their dream smile fast.
The all on 4 treatment requires surgical risk and fully licensed and experienced surgeons to complete the treatment and so it can get pretty expensive. Comparatively, the all on 4 treatment can be a third of the price of western countries.
Long-term smokers and frequent drinkers may have a hard time for a few weeks or months looking after the implants post-treatment. It is recommended not to smoke or drink alcohol while the body recovers. Patients can use nicotine patches but it does not replace the habit of having the physical feeling of a cigarette in the mouth.
Some patients can struggle having no temporary dentures or non-fixed dentures because they need to take them out and clean them each day. They are only given as an aesthetic measure.
Having implants means that patients will need to wait 3 to 6 months. Patients will follow the hygiene advice of the doctor to ensure their implants heals and integrates with the bone in the best possible way. This means actively caring and attending to small changes, cleaning and so on.
Although rare, local complications that may occur during dental implant surgery are: nerve injury that may result in numbness; but is usually temporary and bleeding. Complications that may arise after surgery are: infection and failure of the implant to integrate with the bone.
In Turkey, the all on 4 treatment can be up to 70% cheaper than UK, USA and Western European prices. Of course it also comes down to the specific patient’s need. Some patients may have abscesses in their planned implant area so the infection(s) are required to be surgically removed and treated. They will need to wait 3-6 months for these areas to heal before implants can be placed.
Patients have the option to choose the brand and quality of their implants. Dentures offers Megagen®, Global D® and Straumann® for the all on 4 treatment. This can dramatically affect the price.
Dentares has two full time maxillofacial surgeons available to handle all on 4 treatment, abscess removal, extraction, sinus lifting and bone graft procedures. So their skills are well developed. It pays to have an experienced surgeon on your team. At other clinics you may not get a full time specialist resulting in lower quality surgery.
The prosthesis material, clinic reputation and prosthodontist will also vary the price. Visit our dental crown page for more information
The all on 4 treatment uses angled implants to provide stability in the back of the jaw due to the loss of bone. The all on 6 treatment is different because candidates for the all on 6, have sufficient bone structure to support 6 vertical implants evenly placed in the jaw.
